EFFIXX collaborated with director Rafe Scobey-Thal and Shigeto to give the video for Detroit, Part 1 its' gritty, bleak feel. Having spent time getting to know the artist for several collaborations after he moved his studio from Brooklyn back to the city of Detroit, the video is an homage to both the city and his mental state during this time.
